Victor Cruz Hoping To Play Giants First Game

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is hoping to be back playing at football’s season opener. According to Newsday, Cruz, who was injured August 18th, has been rehabbing his bruised heels. Giants coach Tom Coughlin tells NBC Sports that Cruz is getting better. Sources say that the wide receiver has been spotted without a walking boot or crutches at the practicing facilities, and though he’s aware of his injury, he remains determined to pull himself out of this, even talking about his desire to play in week one of football’s season opener.
