Exotic Latin Getaway- Las Croabas, Puerto Rico

las croabas

Ready to enjoy the very best of Latin American paradise treausres! Well why not plan your next vacation or romantic getaway to the  Natural Reserve Las Croabas!!! And say hello to P.R hospitality!

Imagine climbing in to a tiny 2 person sea kayak, never having tried kayaking of any type before, and launching out in the Caribbean Sea!
Sounds crazy, but it’s amazing!! It’s an adventure out of this world. If you travel 35 miles east of San Juan in the county of Fajardo, you will find a little seaside village by the name of Las Croabas. This village has an estimated population of just over thousand people, the majority of whom make a living from fishing.

Close to the village of Las Croabas lies the nature reserve of Las Cabezas de San Juan. It’s here that visitors can enjoy being surrounded by the beautiful coral reefs, majestic mangroves and the breathlessly tranquil bay.

Las Croabas is also very well known for its superb local restaurants, such as Otello’s, inspired by the cuisine of Italy and with a choice of both indoor and outdoor seating in the old tradition. Here the chef is specifically known for his amazing selection of vegetarian, poultry, shrimp and fish dishes. If seafood is your forte then Blossoms is the place to be. And you’ll find good old 1950’s American-styled food at the Isabela’s grill. So set and date and come and enjoy an unforgettable holiday at Las Croabas! Remember one of the tastiest ways to compliment a balmy beach afternoon is to try a nearby restaurant.

The beaches of Las Croabas may be narrower than other beaches in Puerto Rico but this makes it perfect to be jumping off points for boating and kayaking and while some like rowdy shorelines with plenty of other vacationers, some would rather relax in a peaceful spot by themselves…There is something for everyone.

Read this real testimony about Las Croabas:

This part of Fajardo is beautiful with restaurants across from the ocean and a town park with venders at the end of the street. My wife got a wonderful drink, ajonjoli made of sesame seeds which was very refreshing. On the way back to the hotel we stopped for mavi which is another local refreshing drink made from tree bark.. Most pleasant afternoon and relaxing.

Wouldn’t you like to be next on enjoying this beautiful place! Pkus you can’t live without El Yunque National Rain Forrest, located just to the southwest of Las Croabas.
